Phrasal Verb


Phrasal verbs consists of a basic verb + another word or words. The two or three words that make up a phrasal verb form a short 'phrase' - which is why we call them 'phrasal verbs'.


Phrasal Verb:
back someone or something out of something and back someone or something out

Meaning:
to guide or move someone or something backward out of something or some place.

Example:
Judy backed the car out of the garage.
