An idiom is a group of words, or in other words, a phrase that has a meaning other than its literal meaning of the words in it.
Idiom:
look a gift horse in the mouth
Meaning:
to complain if a gift is not perfect
Example:
"Even if you don`t like the present from your company you shouldn`t complain. Remember, don`t look a gift horse in the mouth."
