Phrasal Verb
Phrasal verbs are two or more words that come together to give us a new verb with a different meaning from the original words.
Phrasal Verb:
belt something out Fig.
Meaning:
to sing or play a song loudly and with spirit.
Example:
She really knows how to belt out a song.
A group of words which have a different meaning when used together from the one they would have if you took the meaning of each word separately.
