Phrasal verbs are two or more words that come together to give us a new verb with a different meaning from the original words.

Meaning:
to settle something by fighting.
Example:
Do we have to fight this out? Can't we use reason?
Phrasal verbs are compound verbs that result from combining a verb with an adverb or a preposition. The resulting compound verb is idiomatic.
