A group of words which have a different meaning when used together from the one they would have if you took the meaning of each word separately.


Phrasal Verb:
hunch something up

Meaning:
to raise up or lift up some body part, usually the shoulders.

Example:
He hunched his shoulders up in his effort to get warm.
