Phrasal verbs are two or more words that come together to give us a new verb with a different meaning from the original words.

Meaning:
to endure until the end of something.
Example:
Ed said that he didn't think he could last the opera out and left.
Phrasal verbs are compound verbs that result from combining a verb with an adverb or a preposition. The resulting compound verb is idiomatic.
