Phrasal verbs are two or more words that together act as a completely new verb with a meaning separate from those of the original words.
Phrasal Verb:

Meaning:
to create something from something.
Example:
I will make some stew up from the ingredients available in the fridge.
A group of words which have a different meaning when used together from the one they would have if you took the meaning of each word separately.
