Phrasal Verb


Phrasal verbs are compound verbs that result from combining a verb with an adverb or a preposition. The resulting compound verb is idiomatic.


Phrasal Verb:
pay up

Meaning:
to pay what is owed. (Often a command: Pay up! )

Example:
I want my money now. Pay up!
